Talent is the ability that you are given seemingly at birth to excel at something. You aren't really sure why you are good at it, but you are among the best at what you do. Talent alone won't make you the best, but having talent is the ideal situation to be in. You can teach a work ethic, you can teach people skills, but it is very hard to teach talent. Those who have a track record of success will be seen as even more talented than they are because of that perception of greatness.

Your talent will allow you to do more in less time because you will pick it up easier and more efficiently. Your talent can also be your downfall if you are not willing to accept that your job could be hard at times.
