Prevent Bride Disasters

From 3arf

To many brides to be, the moment she says "I do" is the most memorable moments of a lifetime, but that initial moment comes with many strenuous hours of preparation. These strenuous hours may even interfere with time at the office. Yes, it is possible to plan an eventful and well thought out wedding even if the bride to be is on the boss's clock. Here are three main strategies the bride can do to plan for the big day while she is at work, without getting fired.

1. Browse the Internet

The Internet is one of the most resourceful places to turn to when planning a wedding. There are many sites that provide tips ranging from cost effective cakes and decorations, to a play by play of how the actual wedding day should be planned. In this case, many bride associates that have a computer based job, can simply click right out of the planning process. With that being said, one of the best ways to hide something, like the Internet, that the boss should not see is to open and minimize as many Internet browsing pages as it takes to make the task bar on the bottom of the computer read only that the Internet is opened and that there are "X" amount of pages.

2. Breaks are best

Every employer is required to give their employees a break after some many hours of work. The bride to be can use this down time to make phone calls, write down notes, and even write out invitations. If the boss does not allow personal phone calls at work, then bring along a personal cell phone. The bride to be will at least be able to check up on the latest news about the weather and of course her dress.

3. Talk to co-workers

Sometimes, even the best ideas can come from other people. Talking with fellow co-workers will usually be excepted by most employers as long as both members of the conversation are still working to get the job at hand accomplished. A co-worker may be able to give the bride to be an insight of his or her own wedding. Also, they may have a few tips and tricks to saving money or getting the wedding planned in a more time efficient manner.

The above tips are only tips, and are not gauranteed ways to prevent the bride to be from getting fired. Getting fired from a job will only put more stress on the situation at hand, and will damper the bride to bes available spending for all of the expenses of a wedding. The biggest way to have an organized and well planned wedding, is to set the date well away from the engagement date, and to prevent procrastination. If the bride to be starts planning on day one after the engagement, she should have no problem with chaotic last minute disasters.
