How to Make a Babys first Easter Special

From 3arf

A baby's first Easter is a special time. Various strategies can make this a memorable event.

Take your baby to church services

Of course, one of the most special things you can do to celebrate your baby's first Easter is to explore the religious aspect of the holiday. You can find a service that is open to infants or that has a special area where you can go and enjoy this special time with your child. The entire family can get together for this special event.

Take your baby on an Easter egg hunt

Except for the very oldest of infants, your baby might not be ready to run through the grass and pick up Easter eggs to put into a basket. That does not mean that he or she cannot enjoy an Easter egg hunt with a little help from you. Purchase his or her first Easter egg basket and some big eggs. If the baby is old enough you can let him or her reach for the eggs or even fill his or her basket. Even crawling babies may have fun chasing the eggs. Of course make sure that you supervise them at all times since most of the eggs are not approved for children under 3.

Let the baby meet the Easter bunny

In malls and other places all over the country, babies and children can meet the Easter bunny. Even if your baby will not remember it, it can be very special to watch him or her be cradled by the big colorful bunny. It will also make for a great photo opportunity. Some locations also have a real bunny that babies can meet so you can look for these opportunities if you think that your baby would like it.

Easter basket

You can give your baby an Easter basket to make it special. Fill it with little toys, stuffed animals, rattles, clothing and other items for him or her to enjoy. Of course make sure that everything is safe and appropriate for a young baby. Most premade baskets are not for young babies so you may have to make your own or look for one specifically for infants.

Get your baby dressed up

Let your baby dress up for the occasion. Get a girl a flowery dress with a little bonnet. Boys can look dashing in a miniature suit (if it is not too hot). You can make a special brunch for your family and friends.

Your baby's first Easter is a wonderful time that you want to remember. Make sure to take pictures during all of the special events so that you can remember it. You can purchase a special picture frame or album that can forever highlight your baby's first Easter.
