Global Test Market
If you’re like most people who use the internet, you’ve likely come across some form of online money-making advertisement, claiming to pay you to take surveys, read emails, watch videos, etc. However, many of those websites are scams that end up costing people time and money.
This is not the case at Global Test Market (www.globaltestmarket.com). This is an international website offering money-making opportunities to internet users throughout the world. Over time, I’ve accumulated enough money to make it worth my time. I only fill out surveys when I’m bored and wouldn’t be doing much else anyway, so the opportunity cost is not high.
It’s important to understand that you’ll never get rich filling out surveys online. I would be very surprised to find anyone whose primary source of income is filling out surveys. It’s simply too difficult to find enough sites that actually pay. And when you do, the compensation isn’t enough to make it worth your time.
You might wonder how you get paid for taking surveys. And who is paying you. Ultimately, you are usually the fourth person on the “food chain.” First, there is the company that wants the information. They outsource their needs to a market research firm. The market research firm creates the survey and outsources the collection of data to online survey sites, like Global Test Market. Global Test Market then offers a small amount of their compensation to the survey respondents to entice them to complete the surveys. Everyone gets a small piece of the pie.
Global Test Market offers MarketPoints to all survey respondents. The number of points varies based on the length of the survey. One point is worth $.05 and many of the surveys are worth between 30 and 60 points ($1.50 - $3.00). The average survey takes about 15 minutes to complete, so you’re not getting paid a lot of money.
When you sign up on their website, you’ll be asked to take some screening surveys for which you’ll be rewarded 10 points per completed survey. This will give the website an idea of the demographics you fit into, allowing them to only send email invitations for surveys that you will likely qualify for. I’m a member of several survey websites and I qualify for many more surveys at Global Test Market than any others.
I’ve been a member of Global Test Market for several years and have accumulated about $600 in that time. Like I said, I always fill out surveys when I’m bored and never spend time doing it when I have something better to do. It’s not a major waste of time. And for those of you who believe that your voice counts, it’s a great way for you to let your voice be heard to the companies that want your opinion.
Regardless of your motive, you’ll likely have fun making a few extra bucks. Good luck!
