Easy to Make Easter Home Decor

From 3arf

There are many different decorations you can easily make to decorate your home for Easter. They are fun for kids and adults and are made from simple everyday objects. Quick and easy.

One of the most Easter-associated thing is flowers. First, there is just a simple alternative, perfect for young children who want to be involved. Cut out a flower-shaped piece of card and then scrunch up little balls of colored tissue paper and glue them on. Simple enough. If lots of different ones are made, they can make a very interesting collage. This also works for Easter eggs, or any other picture you want to decorate.

Another brilliant idea would be to make some paper flowers that are actually 3D and can be kept in a vase. And the best bit is that they won't die because they are paper! To start, you need some straws, which you should wrap in some paper (preferably tissue paper and green) and hold together with some tape. It's best to have some spare paper left hanging on one end. Then simply, cut out some petal shapes from colored paper and glue them on. Simple, but they look splendid after you've made a full bunch. You could even try taping the petals together to make it more cone-shaped or curl them with your fingers for a more interesting design.

Here's a fun idea! This is particularly fun for children too. Get some yellow cotton wool balls and some stick-on googly eyes and make some spring chicks! Simply stick the eyes onto the cotton wool and there you have it. You can use different types of eyes, or stick some balls together first to make a bigger chick. You can even add some little orange paper legs to the bottom for some extra decoration!

You could also make ceiling decorations. Simply get a long strip of paper and stick some flowers on to it. The flowers can be made by getting some circles of tissue paper. Hold a few together (it's better if you have different colors) and fold them into quarters together, then make a cone shape by lifting a few of the flaps to one side. Then, to hold it together, twist the point at the bottom. You can even have the words "Happy Easter!" written across it to add a bit more to the season.

These are all fun, easy-to-make decorations for Easter that everyone can enjoy. All the things needed can be found at arts and crafts stores. So, why not have a go? You can even get the children to join in!
