Being a movie star is really a rewarding experience. However, the opportunity is far reachable for everyone since not everyone can be given big breaks in the movie industry. So the nearest and most attainable option for a person to break into movies is trimmed down to becoming a movie extra. But always be positive and always be open to the thought that anyone could really make big names in the movie industry and that settling as a movie extra should not be a permanent option for you but it should just be your stepping stone to stardom.
BE GOOD IN ACTING
The best thing to consider when you really want to break into movies is for you to be a good actor. To be a good actor, you need to have enough exposure in acting. Some people are born with the talent in acting but this could still be improved through constant exposure in the said career.
It is advisable that you still involve yourself in acting workshops so that you would be able to get tips from good actors who sometimes happen to be mentors in these workshops. You would be able to work with them and you would also be able to mingle with other aspiring actors who could help you in improving the current skills that you have.
Aside from the fact that you are already given a chance to mingle with a lot of people in the acting industry, you may even have the chance to meet great directors from whom you could personally ask for advice on how you could make that move into the movie industry.
You need to join plays and you should audition in every acting opportunity that is offered in your area. This would help boost your confidence level and this would push you to become an expert in acting. There may be a lot of people who could be better than you when it comes to acting but never lose hope. Never let any negative feeling from pulling you away from your dream since the industry is as wide as the ocean and a lot of new actors are needed.

In order for you to break into the movies, you should widen you personal connections with the people in the industry. You should mingle a lot with producers and directors. You should attend parties that have something to do with movies like awards nights, movie premieres and other gatherings alike. Try to maintain a positive aura in the middle of the crowd and make sure you talk to as many people as possible but don't waste your time on useless talks. If by any chance you see a possibility that a director wants to see your talent, try to showcase him your skills. Who knows? You may be the next star in his next movie.
KEEP FOCUSED
This means that you should give enough time and effort for your career. You need to always be positive even if things don't happen as planned. You should never lose hope in times when you did not make it to auditions or if you are not given roles in a certain movie. You need to keep the spirit of making it through the hardships by overcoming the obstacles that would come your way. You need to maintain positive relationship with all the other people in the industry so that you would be able to maintain a good image and this thing would greatlyincrease your chances of making it into the movies.
