قائمة أكبر النجوم في الفلك (بالإنجليزية:list of the largest known stars )

في القائمة القادمة نكتب أسماء أكبر النجوم بحسب نصف قطر كل منها من الكبير إلى الصغير ، مستخدمين في ذلك نسبة نصف قطر النجم إلى نصف قطر الشمس ، بغرض تبسيط قدرة التخيل حيث تبلغ نصف قطر النجم منهم ملايين الكيلومترات . يبلغ نصف قطر الشمس 695.500 كيلومتر.

كما يوجد في تلك المعلومات بعضا من عدم دقة الأحجام ، وكذلك في تحديد بعدها عنا حيث نبني تعيين حجم النجم على أساس المسفة بيننا وبينه .

وهناك صعوبة أخرى تنشأ عن أجواء تلك النجوم العملاقة حيث يمتد جوها إلى الخارج وأحيانا تحجبه أغلفة غبارية أو أقراص غبارية ، كما ينبض البعض منها مما يصعب تعيين قطرهم بدقة . ويجب الإشارة إلى أن المعلومات المذكورة بشأن في في الملتهب ليست أكيدة ، وتحتاج إلى مزيد من المشاهدة والتقييم. [١][foot ١]
