القائمة التالية هي قائمة بأسماء شخصيات معروفة اعتنقت المسيحية من ديانات أخرى. والجدير بالذكر ان المسيحية هي أكبر دين عالمي في العالم حيث عدد اتباعها يربو على 2.2 اي حوالي 33.2% من سكان العالم[٣][٤][٥] وهي الدين السائد والرئيسي في أوروبا والاميركيتين واوقيانوسيا وووسط وجنوب أفريقيا وفي مناطق شاسعة في آسيا مثل الفلبين، كما أنها تنمو بسرعة في جنوب شرق آسيا خاصة في الصين وكوريا الجنوبية وتنمو باطراد في شمال أفريقيا.

قائمة معتنقي المسيحية

وفيما يلي قائمة باسماء الاشخاص المشهورين الذين اعتنقوا المسيحية من ديانة مختلفة أو لا دين. هذه المقالة يعالج فقط المهن الطوعية الماضية من الايمان بها الأفراد المدرجين في القائمة، وليس المقصود بها للتصدي لاعتبارات عرقية أو ثقافية أو غيرها مثل الزواج. قد يكون بعض الناس ساقطا المذكورة هنا أو تحويل السابقة، أو هويتهم الدينية الحالية قد تكون غامضة، الملتبسة أو المتنازع عليها. ويلاحظ في مثل هذه الحالات إدخالات قائمتهم.

تم إلقاء القبض عليه عدة مرات من السلطات المصرية بتهمة التبشير وصدرت تقارير مجمع من الأمم المتحدة به بيانات عن محمد وجدي بخصوصه من الأمم المتحدة ومنظمة العفو الدولية

  • جوزيف مسرور -- (ولد باسم غاسم خان) مبشر لتركستان الصينية مع بعثة الاتحاد في السويد.[٧٨]
  • جولشان استير -- باكستانية منحدرة من عائلة باكستانية وثرية في بنجاب، تحولت من الإسلام إلى المسيحية.[٧٩]
  • عبيد الله بن جحش -- شقيق زينب بنت جحش، زوجة النبي محمد واحد من الصحابة الذكور (أصحاب النبي).[٨٠]
  • جبلة بن الأيهم -- آخر حاكم لدولة الغساسنة في سوريا والأردن في القرن السابع الميلادي. بعد الفتح الإسلامي لبلاد الشام اعتنق الإسلام في العام 638. عاد إلى المسيحية في وقت لاحق، وعاش في الأناضول حتى وفاته عام 645 ميلادي.[٨١]
  • قسطنطين الأفريقي -- مسلم تعلم في بغداد مترجم للنصوص الطبية اليونانية ومات في 1087 راهبا مسيحيا في مونتي كازينو.[٨٢][٨٣]
  • استيفانيكو -- بربري من اصل مغربي وواحد من أوائل المستكشفين لجنوب غرب الولايات المتحدة.[٨٤]
  • القديس ادولفوس -- واحدا من شهداء قرطبة الذين نفذ فيهم حكم الاعدام مع شقيقه، جون، من قبل عبد الرحمن الثاني، الخليفة في قرطبة بتهمة الردة.[٨٥]

  • سكاندربج -- العاهل الألباني والقائد العسكري. تحول من المسيحية إلى الإسلام ولكنه عاد إلى المسيحية لاحقا.[٨٩]
  • دكتور ثوماس يايي بوني -- رئيس جمهورية بنين.[٩٠]
  • المؤيد (أبو العباس احمد المستعين بالله) -- الامير العباسي والابن الثالث للخليفة العباسي. تحول إلى المسيحية وثلاثة من المقربين له على يد القديس ثيودور الرها واختار لنفسه اسم يوحنا بعد التعميد(المرجع الاجنبى المنقول عنه وهو ليورى ماكسيموف يفقتد ادنى معايير الدقة حيث انه يصف الخليفة المتوكل (اباالؤيد المدعى عليه انه تحول للمسيحية بانه من خليفة اموى من الدولة الاموية وليس من الدولة العباسية وهذا يدل على عدم دقة هذا المرجع بالإضافة إلى الخطأ في الاسم نفسه حيث ان أبو العباس المستعين بالله ليس من أبناء المتوكل من الاساس.[٩١][٩٢]
  • ابن همية -- (ولد باسم فرناندو دي فالور) زعيم موريسكي الذي كان توج كأمير الأندلس من أتباعه، وقاد ثورة الموريسكيون ضد فيليب الثاني ملك إسبانيا.[٩٣]
  • الشيخ أحمد البرزاني -- رئيس قبيلة البرزاني في كردستان العراق، والأخ الأكبر لمصطفى بارزاني، الزعيم القومي الكردي. أعلن اعتناقه المسيحية في عام 1931 خلال انتفاضة مناهضة للحكومة.[٩٤]
  • رودولف كارل فون سلاتين -- جندي انجلونمساوي ومسؤول في السودان في القرن التاسع عشر.[٩٥]

الموسوعة اليهودية تعطي بعض الإحصاءات عن تحول اليهود إلى البروتستانتية والكاثوليكية، والمسيحية الأرثوذكسية (التي يسميها "الكاثوليكية اليونانية").[١٠٣] اعتنق حوالي 2,000 من يهود أوروبا المسيحية في كل عام خلال القرن 19، ولكن في 1890 وكان العدد أقرب إلى 3,000 سنويا، و 1,000 في هنغاريا والنمسا (Galizian بولندا)، 1,000 في روسيا (بولندا وبيلاروس واوكرانيا وليتوانيا)، و 500 في ألمانيا (بوسن)، والباقي في العالم الإنجليزي.
