What are the Qualities of an Unprofessional co Worker
Have you ever worked with a co-worker who just didn’t care what happened to you and didn’t care if the job was done or not? If you have ever worked with a co-worker like this, you know it can be hard to deal with on a daily basis. If you are looking to get ahead in your career, don’t act like this, these are the traits of a bad co-worker.The first sign of a poor co-worker is that they don’t care about the job. They are either looking for the first job that gets them out of the door, or they are just collecting a paycheck. It doesn’t matter if they set you up well to do what you need to do, or if their job is done. They just don’t care and there is nothing that you can do or say to change things.Another sign of a poor co-worker is that this person is going to be very unreliable. They won’t always show up on time, or at all. They don’t really worry about the schedule, they take it more as a suggested time to show up for work as opposed to a schedule that has to be adhered to. They don’t call or let you know ahead of time either, so you are wondering if that person is going to come in.The worst part about this co-worker is that they usually don’t do good work when they do anything productive at all. The reports are late, or the registers aren’t cleaned for you in the morning. The office is always a mess and there is no sense of order. To have to interact with this person is something that is usually avoided if possible.The bad co-worker isn’t clean, usually isn’t friendly and there is a sense that they should be fired, or that the employee wants to be fired. However, it takes a lot for an employee to be fired, and the boss might be sympathetic to this person for some reason. While it might seem logical to just get rid of dead weight, it is much easier said than done.A bad co-worker can really set you back when it comes to getting your work done. It isn’t fun working with someone who doesn’t care and doesn’t produce quality work. If you get stuck with someone like this I feel sorry for you because it is going to be a long day at the office.
