Website Reviews Simplyhiredcom

Simplyhired.com has significant differences from the other job-search sites out there, though they are not readily apparent at first view. The differences are generally positive, as the site is fast and provides a ton of results. Your required input is very quick and painless, and you certainly won't waste any time on this site waiting for downloads of results. This is the quickest site I have experienced among the many I have used. Load times are great, largely due to the lack of paid ads or scrolls. Almost instantly you get results from even the vaguest search. There are tools to specify the search, which does make the results more effective. But the number of results is quite impressive, more even for a sample search thanMonster.com.

On the negative side, a lot of thelistingsare clearly spam or work at home. This is understandable, as Simplyhired.com is more like Google than it is like Monster.com. Your search drafts results from all over the Internet, pulled from "thousands of job sites and companies". Unfortunately some of these sites are almost certainly over-ridden with scam sites. This has only increased with the worsening economy, as many people are desperate to work and anywhere there are desperate people there are more people trying to take their money.

I found that by specifying your results, you can eliminate all but the most stubborn scam listings, but you still get some Google type PPC ads at the bottom, all of which are disguised as real opportunities. However, I am a big fan of Google, and familiarity with any search engine will make working with Simplyhired much more familiar, and should make it reasonably simple to ignore the spurious time wasters.

This is a bare bones site, though. It lacks most of the development tools that other sites have. It does have a nice free salary comparison tool, but even that is crude. Overall this site will help you with pure number of listings if you take a bit of time to weed out the garbage, and it's virtually hassle-free. I had listings within 30 seconds of going on the site. If you are looking for a lot of results fast, there is no better site. But if you are looking for help with your search beyond just listings, you'll need to add a more focused web-site to your stable. That is a solid recommendation for any job search in any case. To get the best results, use several that combined will give you the results you want.
