Trying to Beat the Police when to consider a Fuzz Buster
Let's be reasonable. Speed limits, however irritating often might seem, were introduced for a crucial reason. Namely, to safe ours and others' lives. When driving, we do not think that it takes less than a second to seriously injure a person or even send somebody to the other side. Or rather, at the back of our minds we are aware of that but still claim that any accident or crash cannot happen to us. It's exactly the people who feel fearless and overconfident on the roads that are the culprits responsible for major collisions that unfortunately take lives and health of others. So my answer to the question whether and when to consider a fuzz buster is: never.
The truth is...however good driver you are, how well you feel behind the wheel and no matter how many years you have been driving, driving too fast jeopardises you, your family, friends, pedestrians and many other innocent people. It takes just a small hole in the road, a tiny pebble or many other, seemingly impossible or ridiculously petty factors to lose your control over the car. Important as they are, there are no appointments, errands or deadlines that would justify careless, selfish and outrageous behavior on the road. If you think you are running late, or it seems that your career is on the line today, make a note not to leave home late in the future, prepare your workload ahead and always take extra several minutes in case of unexpected traffic, roadworks, bad weather or a sudden accident. Learn to predict possible events even if they are unlikely to happen that day. Do not make excuses in order to cheat the police by using a fuzz buster, you might really regret it.
So my answer to the question in the title is now obvious. Don't try to use a fuzz buster, don't even keep it in case of emergency. It's always when we are thrown into a hectic and chaotic situation that we start to lose control over our reactions. When late, hot-headed and stressed, we are most capable of making a mistake that will cost us more that we are prepared to pay. For me fuzz buster is a lethal gadget. We have only one life and it's our most precious gift so let's seriously think about it...the stake is too high to behave like an invincible road hog. Speed limits are there for a good reason, so let's finally admit it and contribute to making our roads devoid of reckless drivers and safer for us all. After all, it will leave us all better off.
