The best Profession a Woman can Achieve in her Life
The best profession a woman can achieve depends on the woman. Personally, being a mom is the greatest profession I could hold. No offense to my job in retail, but being a mom is more rewarding.
Being a parent for me is the best job I could ever have. Having children and experiencing life with them is better than the day to day at any job no matter how much they pay. My son's first words, first steps, etc are more important than being selected as employee of the month at work. I have the greatest job helping this little man grow and learn each day. He looks to me for advise, knowledge, fun, basically everything. There's nothing I would trade being a mom for.
Now, being a parent is a frustrating and often times stressful job. However, it offers the greatest reward. With my son in his terrible twos, running around the house throwing his toys and food, screaming because I won't let him dive bomb off the couch onto the floor in nothing but a diaper and socks, it can be a very stressful day. But at the end of the day, sitting in the armchair with a book before bed, curled up with a blanket in our pajamas makes up for all the stress of the hours before.
I do have a job outside of being a parent. I juggle working my part time job and being a mom full time. I love it though. It gives both myself and my son some time away from each other, only to appreciate the time we do spend together afternoons, evenings, and weekends. With each day there's new surprises. New words he says, new things he does. Nothing can compare to watching the little baby you gave birth to turn into a little boy or girl, and eventually become an adult. Knowing that you had a huge part in who they are as a person is one of the rewards of being a parent.
My son is so smart, as are most children nowadays. It is important in this parent job to keep your children the main focus in everything you do. You can have a social life and your kids. You can work elsewhere, and come home to your children. No one said you have to be a housewife and stay home all the time cleaning and taking care of the house and kids. It isn't important what the dynamic of your household is in terms of money. Focusing on the kids and family is the important part.
