Roadside Assisstance and its Advantages – Yes
Imagine this, you are out with your family, on the road trip of your dreams, the car is purring along, the air-conditioner is on, and your family is happy. But as you are driving along on a deserted stretch of the highway with only sand and nocivilization around you, your car breaks down, and just like in the movies, you can't seem to get it started again. Here you are stuck with a problem. Call roadside services, or try fixing the problem yourself. But the choice isn't that simple. On the one hand, if you decide to persist and try to solve the problem yourself, the wife and kids will get steadily frustrated, and you slowly lose the ability to concentrate and become more and more frustrated. In the end you either persevere and succeed after five hours of work - or you call roadside assistance.
Now if you do call roadside services in the first place instead of trying, and failing, to be a mechanic, this is what you get: help withinat least an hour, give or take a little, your family can't blame you for being slow, and you maintain the fix-it superhero image in front of your children because in the end, because it was fixed so quickly, your children will just think you fixed it. Also you get to your location faster, you don't have to fiddle around with the car, and because of this, your car lives longer. But then there's also a downside: the cost. It's the bane of all services, and many drivers will undoubtedly feel uncomfortable about forking over that much money. Then again the thing is, these people come out intheir cars, give you help, put up with most of our nonsense and ignore our general abuse, I mean, if i was one of them, I'd think I deserved the money. Don't you?
In the end it's all up to the end consumer. It depends on your lifestyle basically, as you have to make a proper decision, stay stranded for hours until the car decides to work again by itself, or waiting a while and hitching a ride to the closest town for a mechanic and a tow-truck, thereby saving a small amount of money more than you would spend if you had called roadsideassistance, or calling roadside assistance, and escaping from whatever desolate place you are stranded in immediately without a fuss. I think I know what I would choose.
