Mystery Shopping
Have you ever wished that there was a way to save money on oil changes, dinners out, entertainment, hair cuts and even groceries. There is; and, no, it does not require clipping any coupons, unless that is what you really want to do. The truth is, every day, people just like you are getting all of these things and many more free. That's right, free. Just imagine getting your oil changed and your hair done, and then taking a friend out for dinner and drinks, all paid for by the businesses where you shop. Everyday, merchants provide shoppers with free products and services, in exchange for their detailed, impartial opinions. All you need to do to get started, today, is register with mystery shopping providers in your area.
If you have an eye for detail, enjoy interacting with others and have great writing skills, then you possess the qualities of a successful mystery shopper. As a mystery shopper you can work as much or as little as you like, and you can set your own schedule and hours, work from home and earn great benefits and pay, while making a difference. Merchants rely on mystery shoppers, like you, to provide feedback about the customer experience. The feedback that you provide is important in helping clients to determine how to best meet customer needs.
To get started, earning free oil changes, and more, you will need to register with mystery shop providers in your area. You should begin by determining what types of shops most interest you. While most companies offer a wide variety of shops, each does gravitate toward particular categories of services. One of my personal favorites for oil changes, gas, fast food and entertainment is Confero. For groceries and quick meals, try GFK or perhaps you would be interested in tanning salons and hair cuts, as well. If so, try Shoppers Critique, DSG Associates International or Kern Scheduling. For fine dining and bar shops, try registering with NSG, or if your interests run more toward financial services, then I recommend trying BAI and Person to Person Quality.
You should register with multiple providers. The more you register with, the more opportunities and choices you will have. An online search for mystery shop providers will yield thousands of leads, which may seem overwhelming. One place to get good leads is to visit blogs about mystery shopping. There are, also, a number of sites that offer lists, for a fee. Registering with one of these sites can, also, be an easy way to get good leads, about reputable providers in your area. It is probably your best option, if you want to get started quickly, especially if you are looking to earn a great paycheck. If you decide to use one of these registries, look for a site that offers a trial period, for a minimal fee. Check several sites. Then register, only when you are sure that you have the time to devote to following up on the multitude of leads that you will be receiving. Many of these sites offer training courses. While it is not necessary, in order to get started, an MSRP certification may help you get better jobs, in the long run. Just register, complete as many applications as possible, check your Email often and get ready to get busy.
