Monstercom

First of all, let's clear out what Monster.com exactly is. It's a website, which helps people to find jobs and also helps employers to hire workers. Let's start an review of this website.

I typed www.Monster.com in my Internet Explorer address bar. Now I see a well designed, simple and not very colourful(that's good) main page of this website. It's asking me to choose my country. At first I got a bit confused when I didn't find my country in the list, but then I saw a countries list in the right of the page. That's good. I just chosen my country and I was redirected to the other page, which now allows me to use all stuff around the Monster.com.

About first impression... Very professionally designed web page. Simple logo on the logo's place with text "Your calling is calling". Don't know what exactly means this phrase, but it sounds pretty well. A bit lower I can clearly see a search bar. In this search bar I am supposed to write any job title I want to. "Sign in" and "Sign up" bars is hidden in the right of the page and it can't be clearly seen by visitors. It seems to be a first minus to this web page so far. When I look at the middle and bottom of the page, I can see that it's a bit empty and very white. I can see just one advertisement on the middle of the page and "Salary calculator" and "Career Advice". A bit lower them there is a big inquest bar. And at the bottom of the page I can see many of backlinks and this is everything what is in this page. Pretty small, huh ? Whatever it be, I give big plus for professional design.

I haven't mentioned you that below a search bar, there is a big window, which says that Monster.com have some new set of tools and also there is a video window. Hmz, let's take a look at that video. 1 minute and 13 seconds length video, which explains me some things about economics, jobs finding and Monster.com. Video is in English. Pretty nice.

Remember I mentioned about "Salary Calculator" ? Let's see what he can give to us. I pressed it and immediately got a new window in my Internet Explorer. Now I can see a small "thing" called "Salary Calculator". He's asking me to type a title of job and city of my country. OK, let's type and press "GO". Now I see a diagram, which explains me how much salary I can get if I had worked for that job in that city. Pretty nice thing too, huh ?

Monster.com is a great place to look for a job or workman, but it's a big minus for this web page, that I couldn't find any "About us" page.
