How to Make your Commute Easier on you

From 3arf

Do you hate your daily commute and wish that you didn’t have to deal with it on a daily basis? There are ways that you can make your commute a little more tolerable, or even make your commute go away for good. What are some of the things you can do to make that commute a little easier on you?Daily commuting is never fun regardless of how you have to commute. If you drive a car to work, it can mean sitting in gridlock and moving at 5 miles an hour. If you take a train or a bus it means you have to sit with a huge crowd, and you have to make sure you don’t miss your stop. It can be confusing and a hassle if you don’t know what you are doing. How can you make your commute a little easier? The best thing you can do is to leave as early as possible. Its funny how by leaving at 445 I was able to take the expressway to class and be there in 10 minutes most days. However, if I left at 5 it would take an hour to make that same trip due to rush hour traffic. Leave 10 minutes early and see if that helps make the commute quicker and easier for you.Try working from home, or getting a job where you don’t have to deal with rush hour traffic. Try finding a job where you can work from 10-6 or where you can simply do your work at home and come in to the office only when you need something or for a meeting. This can make your commute a lot easier for you.Commuting not only requires that you spend time and money going to work, it also means that you have spend money on gas and the wear and tear on your car. It can make it so that you are spending money to come to work as opposed to making money going to work. The commute has to be the biggest reason why people don’t like going to work.Any job is going to require some travel to and from a work site. Even a writer that works at home will have to travel to the interview that they are doing, or the book tour that the agency lines up when that book finally gets published. However, you can take steps to eliminate your commute or make it easier on you each day.
