People practice for months and years to get on the highly regarded boat racing teams.
The festival is celebrated with gear and merchandise sold. There are many food stands and lots of places to take great pictures of the boat racing. Many people have video recording of their favorite racers and have waited all year to see their favorite team compete. The completion can get stiff but everyone loves celebrating this festival with all sort of partying.
