A bridal shower can be a lot of fun, filled with excitement of the upcoming festivities. Many people choose to play fun games and have different activities during this party. The following are some fun activities to do during a bridal shower.
Who knows the bride best game
Make a questionnaire about the bride. Put on it items that her good friends might know. Include questions such as:
What is her favorite color?
What is her birthday?
What is her favorite sports team?
What city was she born in?
What is her favorite food?
What was her first job?
You can think of as many questions as you want, place them on paper and print up copies for everyone at the shower. Then the people need to guess the answers. The person who comes up with the most right answers wins a prize.
How well do you pay attention game
In the middle of the shower, have the bride go into another room. Then put out a questionnaire, only this time it should ask things about the bride that day. Questions for this game could include:
What clothes was she wearing?
What type of jewelry was she wearing?
What did she eat?
What was she drinking?
How was she wearing her hair?
What did she say in her speech?
Again, the person with the most right answers wins a prize.
Another fun activity is to pick a word or words that will be forbidden for the shower. It could be the bride or groom’s name, the word “bride,” the word “wedding” or anything else you want. Everyone gets a clothespin or some little token. If you hear someone saying the forbidden word(s) you take all of their tokens. Whoever ends up with the most at the end wins.
Bridal bingo
Make a bingo game except instead of letters and numbers make them be things that have to do with weddings. It can be different wedding-related words or pictures of thing such as a picture of a cake. You might be able to find this in a store or you can make your own.
Another nice thing to do is to have everyone bring her favorite recipes on a card to the shower. Then the bride will start out with a cookbook of her loved one’s favorite recipes.
