Flex Hours Pro and Cons – Yes

Most definitely.  Flextime is a great plus to have while working for any company whether it's small or large. Americans as a whole are pressed for more time to balance out their personal, and work life.

Sometimes having this option can be as important to a mother as not having to hire a babysitter because she has flex hours. In this day an time peoples daily schedules are becoming more overwhelming.  There are a variety of different people who simply need more time and or better hours.  Flexibility itself can play a huge part in the lives of college students, who always need money and flexibility at the same time. Again it is very important for most students to  have flex time because without the pay from the job with flex time they cannot afford to be students. In other more simple cases flex time may not be so important but still very valuable.

There are certain groups in society who simply prefer fun to work. Although they realize the necessary decision to get a job, fact is they will always want more time for play. My opinion is no matter the situation it's a fact that most people can always find the need to have more flexibility in their life. Therefore if companies have the options to present flex time I don't see where there would be a downfall. For employees who prefer regular hours the company can offer those hours also an everybody wins.

Flex time was probably once seen as just an perk to a job, but it has become more of an need. Some workers wouldn't be able to work at all without being offered these trendy work hours. Yes, trendy everybody's working more than one job, have kids, or other obligations. Leading to more people working more flex hours outside of the norm. More often  than  not these optional job positions are used for an extra income something we are seeing more of to make ends meet in  economy. Flex time becomes even more helpful during the highly anticipated holiday season longer stores hours mean more shifts to be covered.

If your company only needs a little help flex hours would help them to get an accurate amount of help without over spending for fulltime employees they may not need. Retired workers who may have had to return to work probaly would prefer to work as less as possible. Earning the company a better chance to attain more experienced employees.
