Christmas Unique Ways to use Chocolate Syrup

From 3arf

Rev up the fun this season with a healthy dose of Chocolate Syrup, a traditional favorite that’s sure to please.   And remember, there’s a reason why the holidays only come once per calendar year, so enjoy and save the guilt for spring with these 7 easy tips:

1) If you wake up “needing” that cup of coffee, try waking up “craving” morning, afternoon, or evening java with a splash of chocolate syrup and a dash of peppermint extract.  The extra calories are guaranteed to lend that mega-boost needed to keep you going through sleet and snow!

2) Transform vanilla ice cream into a marble masterpiece with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and a splash of crème de menthe.  Add a striped candy cane and sprig of mint leaves and see how festive you feel.

3) Office party?  Dress up that holiday cake plate with lazy, zigzags of chocolate syrup atop a snow white doily.  Add a dusting of sweet powdered sugar and the look and taste is complete.  Presentation is everything!

4) Give those sugar cookies a lift with a rich, dark coat of chocolate syrup and a sprinkle of festive confetti candy.  Better still, serve with a small warm pot of this delicious confection and there will be no leftovers.

5) Don’t forget the fruit!  Just because you’re a health nut doesn’t mean you can’t have some chocolate fun.  Cut up those apples, pears, and bananas.  Give them a quick dip or a long swim in a delicious chocolate bath and see how the fruit flies off the plate.

6) And while we’re on the subject, spruce up that banana smoothie with an injection of pure holiday bliss.  Who knows, a little chocolate syrup might be just the trick to get that reluctant fruit eater to finally consume their recommended daily allowance of fiber.   And without any fuss.  It’s the holiday season after all, no time for Scrooge.

7) Last, but assuredly not least, don’t forget the kids, both young and old.  Pancake painting can be loads of fun any time of year.  But holidays are for bonding and forging heartwarming traditions, no matter whether family means just you or an entire crew.  So try heating some chocolate syrup at your next family breakfast and supplying a colorful array of paint brushes.   Watch the family memories paint themselves!

Happy Holidays!
