Aah, fall. The kids are heading back to school and many people are back in work but if you do get a chance to experience any of the fall festivities, there are many beautiful places across the globe that are in their prime during this time of year, without the dozens of families which crowd these destinations during the summer.

A European Getaway - Paris. With the weather getting cooler and the crowds begin to dissipate, Paris becomes even more romantic and peaceful. If you'd prefer to relax, wander Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden with their beautiful color-changing chrysanthemums. Fall sees the slow decline of humidity, and tourists, giving a much comfortable atmosphere to visit landmarks such as the Imperial Palace or stroll, and possibly shop, along Tokyo's luxurious Ginza.
Or try New England's 'Six State Fall Tour' - starting and finishing in Boston, known as the most walkable major U.S. city. On this road trip, take a drive through the fallen foliage throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
