Acing the Test
Ahh today is the day you get your drivers license. You're a young teen who's all hyped up to be able to travel on your own and you feel like the road is welcoming you with open arms. Are you nervous? Of course you are! Who isn't nervous before a test, but maybe this little article can ease your nervousness like aspirin eases a headache. Anyways, first of all, study study study! You should study very hard because studying reaps accomplishment! Second, you shouldn't be nervous. When someone is nervous they are more prone to disaster.
It's now time for the test. Hopefully you've calmed down by now. But just think, once you get your license you'll be free to travel! No more escorts ever again! Hooray! First things first, you get in the car and buckle up before anything else! Safety first. Then you should adjust the seat properly to make it comfortable. You can't drive well if your seat isn't comfortable. Make sure you can see behind you and on the side of you with all 3 mirrors. Adjust the steering wheel to your liking, crank the car and you're off! Test is now in progress. Please, no cheating, Haha. Now, you'll be graded on a number of things. Backing, keeping in lane, turning, following other vehicles, parking, and many other driving maneuvers. There's no need to be scared i'm sure you'll do fine.
A key ingredient to passing the test is having confidence in yourself. You've got to believe with all your heart you can do it. If you do, then chances are, you will. You need to listen very closely to the examiner's instructions and follow them carefully. Any mistake could cost you the test or, depending on how bad of a mistake it is, your life. Relax, breathe, Concentrate. A scared driver is never a good driver. During testing, you'll be failed for breaking any traffic laws, any dangerous actions you make, for not cooperating, any accidents, or repeated minor mistakes.
Once the test is over with you will be told what mistakes you made and what, precisely, you need to improve. If you passed, congratulations you are now an a official knight of the road, ready to journey to different lands! Have fun, while driving safely of course! And remember, always buckle up. If you did fail the test though, you'll be issued a permit so you can work on your mistakes, come back, and show that darn examiner what driving really is! Always remember, practice makes perfect. Thank you and happy safe driving!
