ALT-4 Where to Submit Reviews to Earn a Monthly Income
There are a great number of sites set up to pay you to write reviews. Some of them pay you a flat fee, others pay you according to a fancy revenue sharing model. Others pay according to how many views you have gotten on each of your reviews.
While it remains questionable about how many sites we need for reviews written by real people, and whether or not paying them for these reviews is worth it, some of these sites have been around a great deal of time, at least for the Internet.
With a little bit of work, goals, and sites, you can make money writing reviews. This is particularly true if you are one who always has the latest and greatest gadgets as reviews of electronics are some of the highest in demand out there.
If you are looking to write reviews here are a few options of places to go to write reviews for money.
Epinions.com - Epinions.com has been around for quite some time. They do a revenue sharing model that lets you collect eroyalties which can be turned in for cash. This is a great option for anyone out there who is looking to write reviews, particularly of the new things. New games, movies, electronics, and cosmetics for example. If you are first in writing a review on an item listed on their site, you are more likely to make money from it and you will make more money from it.
Review Stream - Review Stream is a poorly put together site that has been around for a few years now. They aren't complete professional and their system is sometimes a pain, but they do pay. They pay one of two prices. You can make their standard rate on new items, or something that might be looked for. This is usually either $1.50 or $2. If the product isn't one that is in high demand, your review isn't good enough, or for whatever other reason they wish to deny it, it can be published at the bulk rate which is 1/5 the regular rate (either 30 or 40 cents). It takes some time, with most reviews earning 30 or 40 cents before you reach the payout of $50, but it can be done, and they do pay.
Shared Reviews - New on the scene, Shared Reviews has set their site up to reward writers for participating. You get money for reading others and voting for them, you get money for writing reviews, and for growing the site. At the end of each month they will be doing a 50% revenue share according to participation.
There are many other sites out there. Some pay for reviewing software, others books, some for reviewing particular products, and probably more for general reviews. You can review anything and get paid for it, if you know where to go, what to write, and how to write it. It can be as simple as that.
Additionally a great deal of reviews can be done on revenue sharing and paid page views sites such as Helium, Associated Content, and Triond. While not directed at those types of articles, they can bring in some money for the writer, while increasing those sites' library.
