ALT-2 Mothers Day Traditions Memorable Ways to Celebrate
This year on May 13, is a day that all moms know. They are just waiting for it to come around because it is the one day that most mothers get a break. I am talking about Mother's Day! Even though some kids and husbands try to make the day the day perfect there are still some problems that most people forget.
First of all, most kids (including me) make breakfast in bed for our moms. Well the only problem with this is, most people leave the kitchen a mess. It kind of takes the meaning away when you work hard to make the breakfast to do something nice and then leave the mess for her to clean up.
Most moms want something nice for breakfast too, some are happy with oatmeal and toast but I like to make my mom something good. Once time we made Coffee Cake for breakfast. Last time however, I made her chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and strawberries. Well the special thing here is when you cook the pancakes do not make them huge just medium circles. When you have about 6 of them made cut out the letters M O M then take whip cream and put it on the bottom letters and put the other letters on top. Slice up the strawberries on the side and put the bacon on the other and there you go. It is cute and good. Just remember clean up the mess when you are done, and besides there should not be that big of a mess it does not really take much stuff to make it.
Next, buy your mom a gift. Something niceno appliances or anything that means more work for her; also do not get her something that she is going to end up using for you. (Ex. Waffle Iron) Buy her something she will remember. This year we bought my mom a massaging pillow, candles, new slippers, and some cool hair berets and stuff. She wanted all this stuff and that is the important thing. Pick something she likes or that strikes her interests. Also, a card might be nice too.
Third, either you cook her, her favorite meal and clean it up afterwards or take her out or get your dad to take her out for dinner. Either way it is a nice way for her to realize how much she is appreciated.
Last, make sure you let her know how much you appreciate her and how much you love her. Also, let her know you are faithful to have her. I mean my mom is best friend I do not know what I would do without her.
