2010 Kia Rondo Car Review
Kia is a Korean based car manufacturer that has over the years gotten some bad reputation with regards to its resale. Many tend to believe that market trends suggest the purchase of a Kia means a purchase for good. They tend to believe this mainly because when someone tends to sell a KIA the price they get is quite below the selling price the same owner paid to purchase the new car in the first place.
Recently however, that trend has started to slowly but surely change and people are starting to give Kia more value in terms of resale. The Kia Rondo is one of Kia’s SUVs that is quite distinct than the popular Kia Sportage.
The 2010 version of the Kia Rondo has been given certain changes that make the car different from the previous versions of it. One of those changes that have been implemented into the Kia Rondo is the addition of seats. The 2010 version now offers brand new 7 passenger capacity seating that will definitely be a positive aspect for potential customers looking to buy the SUV.
The Rondo is being offered as the LX as well as the EX versions that is given a 175 horsepower, 2.4 liter engine (LX) or an upgraded V6 which is a better 2.7 liter, 192 horsepower producing engine. The main difference besides the capacity and the size of both engines is that the EX is offered as a 5 speed automatic whereas the LX is offered as a 5 speed automatic.
There are quite a lot of features this car offers. When we come to the features of this car we can divide and categorize them into two main sections as:
Safety features:
Safety is perhaps one of the most critical and a very important aspect for any customer looking to purchase a car. Kia Rondo tends to take care of all the basic needs by adding certain safety features. They include anti-braking system, a traction control, also front airbags which are quite common in many upcoming cars as well as curtain side airbags. The above mentioned safety features are being offered standard in just about every up and coming car.
Luxury or standard features:
Besides offering safety, we all know that a car can’t be classy if it doesn’t offer luxury to those that ride it or drive it. The Rondo offers power windows, power locks and even power mirrors. The EX version of the car which is a bit more classier than the LX offers leather upholstery as well as heated front seats. Now the leather upholstery as well as the heated front seats can be added to the LX, but with the purchase of it which will obviously cost some money. Other features include a rear view camera as well as a navigation system.
