2010 Honda Odyssey Minivan Review
I grew up with riding in a minivan, as any child that was one of more than five kids probably did. Minivans to me symbolized a large family or made me automatically think of a soccer mom. However, now that I am in my late 20s with two children of my own, I no longer run screaming at the idea of a minivan. Browsing at a car dealership while my husband was dreaming about the day he can get a sports car, the 2010 Honda Odyssey Minivan caught my eye.
For once the minivan caught my eye and did not make me cringe and run away. The Honda Odyssey has a sleek look that I admire. It even runs smoothly. This vehicle is perfect for a growing family, with seating for eight. The space and the moveable seats are perfect for traveling. What a family friendly vehicle! My husband gave the big thumbs up to the V-6 engine. He also liked the Touring version, which comes standard with the DVD player and Navigation system.
The only thing that would stop me from purchasing this vehicle is that it is not an all-wheel drive. My husband prefers all-wheel drive vehicles because we live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. You can't always count on snow in the winters, but when it does snow, it can be rough coming down the mountain. When comparing other minivan options, the only one that came close was the 2010 Toyota Sienna. However, if you have a large family or like to travel with more than six people, the 2010 Honda Odyssey Minivan delivers. It is affordable starting around $26,000, but if you want the bells and whistles, you need to be willing to pay more.
