Personal Experience
A few weeks ago a few weeks ago, on the way home from New Jersey, I was driving on a road known as Old Orange Turnpike. There was a Ford F 150 that I later found out was a 2008 in front of me, it was swerving all over the road. First he was on the curb and then in the other lane, back and forth, this was going on for about ½ of a mile..
I phoned the Police but before I was off the phone. he was off the road and through a mail box at about 45 miles per hour...
The F150 went back on the road and then spun 180 degrees, went up on 2 wheels, skid a good 25 feet, and came to a halt and landed flat on its tires.
I was amazed that the truck did not flip and role..
In my mind that is one hell of a good handling Truck, it should have flipped. The driver walked away, uninjured, it turned out to be low blood sugar...
My own two eyes sold me on the handling abilities of this Ford F150 Truck..
Drivability
The engine accelerates nicely with smooth pedal response. The brakes are adequate with no shake or vibration. The Ford F 150 corners tight at speeds in excess of 45 mph, handles rough terrain well, and the 4 wheel drive grabs the road.
Heating A/C climate control functions are standard Ford and are just what you would need for a truck.
As all ford pick up trucks I have used driven or repaired it is a work truck and performs that function quit well.
