What do Teenager Boys like to Recieve for Gifts

From 3arf

What to put in a basket for a teenage boy? Good question! I have been doing this very same thing every year for the past 3 years now and it takes a few creative ideas. In the last several years I have been doing the shaving kits, cologne, gift cards, clothing (of course), oral hygeine products, movie passes, movies, music cds, and various other little trinkets. My son is a die hard nascarfan so I will usually include a book, poster, movie or something along those lines. He is very into his looks and must look good at all times. He has begun asking for specific styles and names of clothing. Of course it is not the cheap stuff either. I always buy my children a new outfit for Easter no matter how old they are. I am a big fan of Easter and love to surprise my kids. They will all get some candy, an outfit, and then I try to design the rest of the basket for each individual child. Teenager's are hard to buy for no matter the occasion, but boy's are harder. Girls are a no brainer, their lives revolve around makeup, boys and clothes. Another idea I have used in the past with success is to find something your son likes and get them tickets for it. My son's loves football and a few years ago I purchased tickets for a professional football game and he was so thrilled with that. I think the key to a good basket is just thinking about our child and what he likes. Once you find the basics for the basket, you can then come up with one or two surprise items for them too! Some examples might be if your son likes comic books, you could include some of them or a chance to go see an comic book event. Boys who are into art may like a visit to a art musuem or expo. If they are into technology they might like a new computer program, new cell phone or ipod.  Some boys love to just hang out with their friends and they might enjoy a movie pass, shopping at the local mall, or an arcade pass. Some of my son's freinds have requested contacts so they look cooler with the girls. You know your child better than anyone, so be creative. If they have a girlfriend offer to pick her up for him , or take them somewhere they want to go. Whatever you do will be appreciated if you take the time to pick out at least one present that let's them know you care and took the time to make a special Easter basket for them.
