Websites where you can Earn Money for Completing Simple Tasks
Want a few bucks for some simple and quick online work? Well, I have the sites for you to check out. Let’s face it, none of these have the potential to send you to a beautiful tropic island to sip margarita’s for the rest of your life, but they are all interesting and easy jobs; sometimes as simply as with a few clicks of the mouse.
These are NOT get rich quick schemes. I would be very surprised to see anyone make a really good living off of them. What they ARE is real deals. These are not simply scams to get your email address and add you to a mailing list. Here are the online task related jobs to make a little extra cash.
Fiverr: This is one of the biggest ones. Perhaps you have heard of it. The idea is simple. You can post any job you are willing to perform for $5. You get paid and do the job. If you fail to do a good job, people rate you down and good luck getting hired again. (Your share works out to $4 + once Fiverr takes its share). If you have jobs that you can do quickly that others cannot perform, or cannot perform rapidly, it is perfect for this site. This is perhaps the only site on the list that a “real” income could be potentially earned if you have a lot of marketable and FAST skills.
Microworkers: Microworkers is a simple task related site. It has a listing of jobs people want done. Most of the job are concerned with promoting a site or product someone wants done. They include things like, “Tweet my site for 35 cents. Or Facebook “like” my site and add a link to this video for 80 cents. 90% of these jobs can be done in 3 minutes or less…even with going back to provide “proof” that the work has been accomplished.
Mechanical Turk(MTurk): This site is owned and operated by Amazon. So you can be 100% sure it is not some fly by night out to scam you out of your earnings. The idea here is that there are many jobs they call “Human Intelligence Tasks”. They are very simple jobs that take mere seconds, like looking at a picture and clicking which choice the content is. A task may have thousands of “jobs” open so you can just roll through the jobs completing one after another. Most task are only $.01-.05 so you will not get rich doing it, but since the tasks are mind-numbingly simple you can do them while half paying attention, like while watching TV. Some people claim to earn $10-15 an hour using this service once they get a “system” going.
