I earn some extra money monthly by using Amazon by simply selling used books. The amount I make each month varies from month to month and really depends on the type of merchandise that I have in stock.
I find that the cheaper I list my products, the more I sell. I try to find used books that are in good condition and do not cost that much.
Listing items on Amazon is quite simple and does not take much time at all. As a matter of fact, within a few minutes you can list items that you wish to sell. All you need to do is enter the UPC or for books the IBSN and a picture and description of the item will come up. Then all you need to do is answer a few simple questions about the condition of the product that you wish to sell and the price you wish to sell it for and you are done!
At this point all you need to do is wait until you get an email notification stating that your item sold. All you have to do at this point is log into your account to get the address of the buyer and ship the item. Amazon will transfer your earnings once a month to your bank account for all your sold items during the prior month.
Currently I sell used books on Amazon. The books I sell come from a variety of sources. I started out by going through all the used books I had at home that were in good condition that I no longer needed nor wanted. I only sell books that are in good condition! Another way that I secure books to sell on Amazon is by going to second hand stores in my local area. Many times I am able to pick up books that are in great condition for only a couple of cents! I know certain days some of these stores have sales and offer discounts and I am sure to make my purchases on those days. I also am sure to go to as many yard sales and flea markets as I possibly can while the weather is nice. Many times I am able to pick up great bargains at these types of sales, especially when the sellers are in a hurry to sell their items quickly. I have also gone to local auctions to get good deals.
I recently purchased a box of fifty various books at an auction for five dollars! What a great dealeach book cost me ten cents each! I real bargain considering that most averaged about $8.00 retail. I priced all the books under $1.00 to cover my costs. After I sold five books, I made my investment back and the rest was all profit.
This is a real simple way to make a few extra bucks per month. You can sell any items you want. The key is to make sure you ship the sold items promptly and keep your customers happy so you will earn their repeat business.
