The real trick is finding a functional part that costs less without putting in a lot of time looking for it . Many times you can spend more in time and money locating a used part than it would cost to just buy the new one . That depends on the part though . As a long time junk yard crawler I have found it beneficial to do my leg work on the phone . Most yards know exactly what they have and usually are more than happy to go check to see if they have a certain part or not .
