There are work place behaviors that a boss hates that puts up red flags at work and can label you as a problem employee. Displaying negative habits at work is no way to be the employee a boss loves to work with. Bosses hate to see employees that fail to treat others in their workplace with respect and demonstrate value for the working relationships that helps employees become productive. The boss is not saying that employees need to be friends with coworkers, but bosses expect employees to treat others with respect and understand the value the working relationship contributes to get the job done. Bosses hate to see individuals in their organization that are not team players.

When employees have to perform additional duties because of an employee with constant absenteeism or tardiness issues, it can create physical and mental strain with employees that show responsibility and commitment to their job. If you are an employee with attendance issues, this is a definite thing you are doing that your boss will hate and it will have a definite negative effect on becoming a successful and productive employee.

Bosses hate to see employees that do not understand the importanceof the value of their customers. Employees with poor customer service skills can make it difficult to build a positive reputation for an organization. Smart bosses understand the importance of creating a work environment that builds loyal and committed customers. Your boss will hate to see any behavior that interferes with delivering good customer service.

Bosses hate to see individuals that do not manage their time effectively. Bosses are depending on you to get a job done. Individuals that are labeled as time wasters are not using their time effectively and it prevents them from accomplishing and meeting the expectations of their job. Bosses hate individuals that are constantly on personal phone calls, display poor organizational skills and always have an excuse for not getting tasks done in a timely manner.

What your boss hates to see are employees that cannot produce and demonstrate poor people skills. Employees that have low productivity and demonstrate no loyalty or commitment to their organization are not valuable employees. These are the individuals that are displaying behaviors that any boss hates to see. If an employee cannot meet expectations of their role, other employees will have to pick up the slack. The employee that is not meeting and accomplishing their tasks effectively creates a trickle down work impact to all the other employees in the organization. These types of negative work behaviors create a difficult working environment and decrease employee morale.
