The Future King and Queen of England
The recent royal wedding betweenPrince WilliamandKate Middletonhas shown the world that the Monarchy with its traditional class system is outdated and class distinction has no place in a relationship where two people love each other. Their unison will prove a valuable lesson that you should be judged more on your humanitarian worth rather than your material worth and no doubt they will be a couple that the world will see as noble in the true sense of the word.
We are all too familiar with the failure of Williams parents Prince Charles andDiana Spencers“marriage of convenience” and the need for his father, as the oldest son, to marry and produce an heir for the continuation of the royal bloodline. Many years ago because of royal protocol William’s father, Prince Charles, was not allowed to marry the woman he had grown up with and the love of his life Camilla Shand. Their relationship was deemed by royal courtiers’ as an unsuitable match.
During their youthPrince Charlesand Camilla were separated because of his military duties and any further relationship possibilities for the time being had ceased. Each couple had gone their separate ways and it was not until during his marriage to Diana Spencer that he rekindled his relationship with Camilla. Eventually this illicit liaison led Diana to realize her marriage to Charles was loveless and filled with infidelity, gradually ending in divorce. With the demise of Lady Diana in a car accident and no doubt the main objector to any future matrimonial proposals Charles may have offered, he finally married his childhood sweetheart.
If the same protocols were to be put in force today Prince William and Kate would not be permitted to enter into matrimony. In the past, the monarchy have arranged marriages with suitable partners, highly scrutinized and chosen from royal lineage. The royal lineage is preferably chosen from within the country but in some circumstances foreign royalty may be an option. If these strict protocols were to have been implemented today their union would never have been approved and this happy occasion would never have eventuated.
Another lesson learned from this couple is their modesty and respect. They are not spoilt brats as has been the cases with many high profile celebrities and their attitudes have not brought controversy upon themselves or their families. They remain respectful and responsible for the positions they hold in regard to being decent role models.
William and Kate in their down to earth modest way know all too well that they will never want for any material possessions, therefore it was requested by the couple that in lieu of wedding presents that a charitable donation be made.
Prince William and Kate Middleton are a perfect example of the Monarchy being lead into the future without the trappings of an unfair system that regards status above sensibilities. Through the trials and tribulations William has had to endure during the crisis in his family life, it is uplifting to know that the outcome can still have a fairytale ending.
