Survey Websites
Particularly during a down economy, people are always looking for ways to make some extra money. Imagining the possibility of getting rich, many people have attempted a few online survey sites, inevitably finding that they won't make $100 per hour. Or getting told that the only compensation for their time will be entries into sweepstakes. For those income-seekers who are more persistent, money-making opportunities are, in fact, available!
There are a few things to know about the survey websites I have listed below. First, they will ask you to fill out profile surveys. This allows the website to only send survey invitations to people they believe will qualify for the survey (each survey has a targeted demographic). Second, each of these websites will email you with survey invitations. So you will be prompted when a survey is available. If you have time, great! If not, you can delete the email and wait for the next one!
1. Opinion Outpost (www.opinionoutpost.com).Opinion Outpostrewards the survey-taker with points upon completion of a survey. These points are directly converted into cash at a rate of $.10 for every point accumulated. The average survey for Opinion Outpost ranges anywhere from 15-40 points ($1.50-$4.00). Although you will not get rich with this type of earning potential, if you complete a survey in your spare time twice a week, you could be looking at $200 at the end of the year. Who wouldn't want an extra $200 at the end of the the year? One aspect of Opinion Outpost that sets it apart from other survey sites is that in each email invitation you receive, you are given enough information to make a decision about whether or not it is worth your time. It tells you how many points you would be rewarded with as well as the expected time needed to complete the survey. You will need to accumulate only 50 points ($5.00) before you can cash out.
2. Global Test Market (www.globaltestmarket.com).Global Test Markethas been a consistently solid earner for me. However, in recent years, the website has focused their reward structure more on sweepstakes entries. If you're like me, you'd like a guaranteed pay-out even if the sweepstakes entries offer the chance at a higher reward. But Global Test Market also offers point rewards for some of their surveys. And because of the high-volume of surveys available, the survey-taker will have many opportunities to earn points for their time. At Global Test Market, one point is equivalent to $.05. The average survey is 35-40 points ($1.75-$2.00). The only information the email invitations will give is the reward type and amount. It will not include the expected time needed to complete the survey. You will need to accumulate 1,000 points ($50) before you can cash out.
3. Survey Spot (www.surveyspot.com).Survey Spotwas the first website that I found. The site originally offered $3 for every survey and sent about a dozen every day. There was a lot of earning potential. But as the online-survey-market has saturated a bit (with everyone looking to earn more and more money), they were able to lower their rewards. After dabbling in only offering sweepstakes entries, Survey Spot has reformatted it's structure and now offers points as their tangible reward. They also offer sweepstakes entries, but as with Global Test Market, I tend to only respond to the guaranteed pay-out. At Survey Spot, one point is equivalent to $0.01, with the average survey ranging from 50 points ($.50) to 450 points ($4.50). Like Opinion Outpost, the email invitation includes the reward information as well as the expected survey length. What leaves Survey Spot as the third-rated site on this list is their website. You cannot view the list of surveys or their reward information. You simply click on a link to take a survey and have to hope for a survey that rewards with points. As a result, you should only take surveys from emails you receive so you know the information prior to taking the survey and committing your time.
After searching the internet for years, I'm convinced that these three websites are the best sites for earning money. If you're interested in other forms of making money online, there areplenty to choose from! Good luck with your money-making endeavor!
