Never underestimate the power of a song. A song can teach, share emotions, make people wiggle, and often times bring a smile or a tear. Sometimes Thanksgiving becomes a bit of a forgotten holiday. It is tucked in between two spectacular competing  holidays of Halloween and Christmas. Most people would agree that the world would be a better place if there were more gratitude. That is what Thanksgiving is all about.There is more good news about gratitude and Thanksgiving. It is all inclusive. Anyone can be grateful and spend time with friends and family.Often times when asked about Thanksgiving songs everyone seems to come up with at least these two songs. They are both good songs. It is clear that these songs are steeped in tradition and have stood the test of time. Keep singing them. With that being said there are plenty of other songs that talented writers have written.
