Simple Birthdayno Celebration
Simply ask them what they want for their birthday would solve the problem from the beginning. Some people may be more bashful and backwards when it comes to full blown attention from a big celebration. All eyes on you at any given time may intimidate or make you a little nervous. Face turns red, you start to feel like the walls are closing in on you, you just want to run and hide until everyone disappears. There are just some people out there that would like to skip the whole day anyway. Just to mention a birthday sets them off on a rampage of having to deal with getting another year older. Ever notice it is hard to get a woman to tell her age? Well, I don't want to be the one to make the announcement in a room full of friends and family. Would you? You better wear your running shoes because you may need to use them and fast!
Your family and friends wants to honor you on the official day you were born. To family, it's a special sweet memory that they may want to celebrate. It was a beautiful moment in time for them. Small sentiments on your birthday can actually mean more to you than any type of celebration you can offer. Just a heartfelt Happy Birthday wish and why you are so happy they were born can go further to make them feel loved and appreciated in your life. Cook them their favorite dish. You know they will absolutely enjoy it and they will feel honored that you remembered a personal favorite. If it's a friend, call them up and let them know you remembered their birthday. It will touch their heart that you took time out and thought about them on this special day.
Everybody has to eat. Take them out to their favorite restaurant. Whatever you do, don't tell the waiter or waitress it's their birthday. The staff may coming out clapping and singing and send your birthday girl or boy hiding under the table or left feeling completely embarrassed in front of a restaurant full of people. They will never go out to eat again on their birthday with you ever! Make them a birthday cake with no candles because all those candles burning will remind them the clock is ticking. It is also really embarrassing to some people that they can't blow out all the candles at one time. Strange, but true!
