Should Employee Performance Reviews be Abolished Employee Performance Notice – No

Take it or Leave it! If you take it, then it would be good for you. If you leave it, then let's see. I started my comment in a challenge because I believe that if a person doesn't know how to listen, growth never occurs. I don't agree in abolishing employee performance reviews. Why? Well, let me ask you a question: Are you going to be happy if your boss or the company you are working with terminated you or suspended you without any reason or notices? Of course not, right? This one falls in the same category. Employee Performance reviews encourages people to learn what should be improved or what should be a challenge. A person who will regard it as a discouragement doesn't know the importance of lesson learned and growth from mistakes. Reviews are made not to disappoint you. They were created to give you an overview of what you did for a certain span of time. They can be called evaluation. At schools they are very important for teachers. Through these evaluation sheets, they have their knowledge of what they could do the next time they will teach the children.

I started my comment with a challenge of Take it or Leave it. As an employee, I always take it. I don't leave them behind. You know why? Because through them I could also assess the performance of the company from which I am working. Reviews help the employees to have further knowledge of what the company wants. This includes their strengths or weaknesses. A company who doesn't know how to value their employee and how to encourage them, is a marketing-based company. What I mean by this is that, they are not the company you should be working with, Never settle for money, settle also for the things that you really love doing. If you are satisfied to your work then the result would always be better. If you're not, then it could lead to negativity. In another instance, some companies may not treat you well. They might issue reviews that are so inconsiderate. With this, you must review them carefully. Be a listener but be an critic too. The best always fall behind every learned mistake and challenged weaknesses. Do not be discouraged from these reviews take them as another opportunity to know well your work. Employee Performance Reviews should not be abolished simply because they are grades (just like in schools), you do better when you're grades are low and you reward yourself when you're at the top. But all in all, they motivates you. For short, they kept you going.Maybe not as a whole, but one person at a time could bring this messed society to heights you've never imagined
