Review of Pureprofilecom
Founded in Australia in 2000, and launched in 2002,Pureprofileis a global market research company with offices in Sydney, London and Mumbai. Their online Panel, operating under the same name,Pureprofile.com, works with some of the world’s leading researchers – Galaxy Research, Synovate, Ipsos, and TNS 5th Dimension. They have more than 550,000 Account Holders and 500 clients.
From the perspective of what you would expect from a website, in terms of visual appearance, navigation and functionality, the Pureprofile site has just about got it right. As an global Online Paid Survey Panel, rated on legitimacy, reliability, and reward levels, it is one of the best.
Clicking onto the site presents an uncluttered homepage, with a brief resume of what Pureprofile is all about running down the left-hand side of the page, under nine sub-headings. Down the right-hand side, are links to existing members Sign In, the Registration page to become a member, and a “Choose your Country” option.
It is very simple to join Pureprofile, it entails:
Being over the age of 13 years;
Registering your name, email address, date of birth and location;
On receiving an activation email, clicking the link to confirm your membership.
You can then log in to access your Pureprofile account, where you are asked to complete a mandatory profile (2-3 minutes), which asks you about your gender, location, living arrangements and other basic demographics. You can then instantly start receiving paid campaigns, specifically targeted to you.
The Account Holder (member) homepage consists of three sections – Profile, Nextbutton, and Latest Updates.
The Profile sub-section provides access to your Profile History which can be easily viewed and updated as necessary.
The Nextbutton subsection is unique. To quote Pureprofile “It is a world-first innovation to make your web experience dramatically better, save your time and improve your life. It instantly notifies you of paid messages and surveys as well as fun, exciting content that is matched to your profile.” I am not convinced it has improved my life, but providing you log in daily, it certainly ensures that no money earning opportunity is missed. It is some consolation for the fact that, unlike its peers, Pureprofile often do not send email invitations to available surveys.
The Latest Updates sub-section does as it says – inform Account Holders of any site changes, and if applicable, the reasons behind them. A refreshing innovation for a survey site!
Other pages on the site include:
Transactions. This records the date, description and amount of every earning transaction you have participated in as member.
Nextbutton History. This lists every single offer Pureprofile has presented to you and the current status, for example, completed, viewed, screened, etc.
Redemptions. Where you request a payment.
FAQ. Frequently asked questions, which is very comprehensive and easy to understand.
Contact Us. Seldom required, but when the need does arise, a personal reply and resolution is promptly forthcoming.
Terms and Conditions. As you would expect from a professional site.
Well that covers the “nuts and bolts.” Of more interest to most would be “how much can I earn?” For starters, Pureprofile rewards in cash. The amount for completed surveys obviously varies, depending on length and urgency, but overall it is definitely more than other survey sites. In addition, failing to qualify (screened) still attracts a consolation fee of AU20 cents. Further, through the Nextbutton, you can access selected “Paid to Views” which offer an attractive AU10 cents.
The redemption threshold is AU$25, which I can attain monthly. This will vary from member to member, of course, depending on an individual’s demographic. The redemption is paid into a nominated Bank account. I realize this worries some people, but I am more worried about shopping online with a Credit card. The money arrives in your account in about 21 days.
In summing up, I would have to say Pureprofile is my favorite survey site. As an Australian, I guess I am a little biased, because they offer us a local football tipping contest as well!
