Resume Writing or Resumes
Have you ever considered the structure of the resume? First start with presentation. Make a bold statement saying I am looking for a job and am not lazy. This can be done in one of two ways:
1. Use simple words in two easy to understand sentences describing what type of career you are heading for as the objective.
2. Don’t use filler words in the middle of your resume when stating your hobby it is not a university thesis paper. A third sentence can be added to showing the strengths you think you possess that would be beneficial to the employers that are hiring which is optional. Above the previous information, you will want to have your email off to the right side of the paper along with your phone number and address/postal code.In all possibility, you might want to add your high school experience, by maybe saying you were never late for class or was always reliable in group project able to be independent of those you work with if someone was not contributing their fair share and provide examples. Or you are perhaps getting a high grade in math, English, Science or a field that I have not mentioned that is related to the line of work. You could list what expertise you might have in a subject through thorough research as a hobby. What type of board games that you find promote the skills required for the job.For other, also list achievements such as courses you may have completed as certificate courses in night school just after high school. You could mention that you have first aid experience if that’s the case. Next, you might want to list the chores you do around the house that have some relevance to the job you are applying for. Furthermore, getting personal references from a friend who knows the family well and is in a respected profession like a doctor or vice president might help. Coop is another noteworthy venue to draw experience from just list the grades and duration at each coop placement if more than one.Volunteering wise, you could list experiences with charities or helping with kids and/or libraries etc. The more you volunteer, the better it looks upon presentation to your potential employer. Formatting: double space, dates and year on right, titles of categories in bold, always put references upon request at the bottom as a formality.List your hobbies and sports near the end, something with team skills usually is best like: baseball, soccer, football or skiing. You could also note any instructor training you might have had as a volunteer sports wise.
