Due to it's extensive communications network however, information can be quickly spread via the region's broadband network.

Another significant part of Singapore's economy is it's position as the region's financial center and monetary trading hub. A great number of jobs are available in this sector along with it's import/ export market. Schooling in Singapore is considered some of the best in the region and as a whole the country has a very low crime rate. Sporting andentertainmentis also very popular and according to expats who have lived there Singapore is a type of gateway to the rest of Asia. Living there introduces expats to life in many other Asian countries as it's multicultural diversity prepares foreign workers in the region for life in many of the surrounding countries.
