Is it easy to make money from home? That really depends on what you are trying to do, and what the business is that you are trying to run. While it certainly can be a challenge to make money from home, it can be a rewarding endeavor, and it can be a money making one too if you are smart enough, and can put in the time that you need to make your home business work.
The thing about having a home business is that you aren't just going to turn on your computer and start making money right away. There are going to be a lot of expenses that you might have to pay depending on what your business is. You might make money if you are doing something like writing, or other work from home offers where you are still working for another company.
However, if you are truly working for yourself, there are a lot of things that you are going to have to keep in mind. There are going to be expenses for space to work, employee pay if you hire anyone, and health care and other costs. Those are very costly, and those are necessary expenses.
The average business doesn't turn a profit usually for three years after inception. So if you are running your own business you are probably not going to make a lot of money working from home. However if you are doing something like freelance writing where you don't have much overhead, or you are doing something like tutoring or babysitting you are probably going to make money.
As I said before, it depends on what you are doing with your business. If you are affiliated with someone, or some program, you have a better chance of making money. If you are going alone, you aren't going to have that great of a chance to make money unless you have something is pure profit, and requires a little bit of an overhead.
Home businesses are great if you are wiling to put some work in to get the business off the ground. However, if you are going to work at home, consider your options very carefully so that you are aware of what you are going to be getting into. No business is going to work at first if you are going it alone, so don't start your business unless you are ready to take some losses first.
