Pre Owned or not Pre Owned that is the Questioned – No
Would you wear a pre-owned wedding dress? When I looked at the poll it surprised me on how many brides would prefer wearing pre-owned instead of a new one and I guess it's all up to the bride on what she would like to wear on her special day. There is some point of every little girl's life when she starts to plan her wedding day, either in her head or aloud. Asking questions like:What type of dress would I wear? What would my prince charming look like?Where would the location of the wedding be?How magical is that day going to be?I can see why some brides would prefer to wear a pre-owned wedding dress. There are a number of reasons why a bride would; it could be for a meaningful purpose or for a financial one. Whether they would love to wear their mother's (or someone close to them) wedding gown, they might prefer vintage dresses, if they just don't have enough money and their budget cannot afford it, or maybe their dream dress is at a thrift or vintage shop.Personally I made sure that I would have enough money to buy my wedding gown, a gown so special that it would be like what I have always dreamed of wearing on my wedding day. It wasn't because I didn't think it was special enough to wear my mother's wedding gown, which is a one of a kind and handmade in the Philippines, it was because I wanted a dress for my own. Her dress is her gown that she pictured wearing on her special day. It is what she pictured wearing and it was very important for me to find something just as special to me that was like my dream gown. My mother's wedding dress is a symbol of my parent's special day and I wanted something like that a dress that I could look at 50 years down the road and know that it represents our day and no one else's.Every bride deserves to look like a princess on their special day. Every bride is different and it doesn't make it any different if the wedding gown is pre-owned or not. It has to do with the magical day of two people starting a new life together and joined in marriage as two soul mates who are destined to be together.
