Flag day should be honoredTribute to the Red, White and BlueWith everyone flying our bannerTo honor the Brave and the True
In this time of war and terroristOur Flag should be uplifted everydayTo remind us of how importantOur freedom and the American Way
So many go out and burn itAnd destroy what Old Glory is aboutInstead of celebrating our freedomThey curse, riot and shout
Some forget all those who have diedFor the freedom of our Flag to flyThey let this important day passAnd forget all those who had to die
Our flag is something to be proud ofSo many have suffered to give it a nameWhich could otherwise be buriedAnd our freedom would do the same
We need to pray for another freedomOf those who have a flag that fellAnd be proud we live under Old GloryAnd be sad for those living in Hell
Our Flag represents the freedomWe have to walk down the streetWithout dodging bombs and gunshotAble to smell the flowers so sweet
OLD GLORY should never be trampledOr allowed to touch the groundFor it should always fly high above usOne nation under God as it was found
The Pledge should never changeJust as our Red, White and Bluefor our Flag was sewn with prayerand God's word was acclaimed to be true
I pledge allegiance to the Flagof the USA, is how it starts,and our Flag and pledge should remainupon each and every American's hearts
Through all these troubled times,We should all give thanks to God aboveThat we fly the Flag of FreedomAnd remain the Country of Love
Never forget our soldiersAll those who fought and diedHonor each and every familyAnd all the tears they've cried
Think about the countriesWho live in fear and total destructionYet here in our great countryThere is always new construction
Be thankful we can fly our FlagThink of all who suffer and dieThose who cannot walk the streetsAnd the ones who cannot try
Oh say can you seeJust open your eyes my friendFor if Old Glory ever fallsThen our Freedom will surely end
Remember Flag Day with prideAnd share in the celebrationFor this day is not just for HistoryBut, for everyday in our nation
In past wars men stood proudAs today our soldiers still doAnd the pride of our nationShould also be shared by you
Flag Day reminds us allOf how blessed we all should feelto share the freedom we haveAnd join in prayer for God to heal
