Carving soap is easy if you have some skills with a knife. But you can also melt and pour soap into a mould to shape it into a flower. Find a flower shape mould, you can get them at soap supply shops or candle making supplies shops. You can also find flower shape moulds at a bakers supply store, these moulds are used for gelatine but you can use them for soap too.

Melt ordinary soap in your microwave. You can use coloured soap or add food dye and fragrance if you want when the soap is melted. Pour your melted soap into your mould and let it cool. If the mould is made of metal, you might want to coat it first with petroleum jelly before pouring in the soap. That way, taking out the solid soap from the mould would be easier.
