Forecasts warning of $5 per gallon gasoline in the United States have proven wrong, so far. Since peaking in March, gas prices have slumped 2.6 percent in April and more in May. Miraculously, the tradition of higher fuel prices on the Memorial Day weekend has failed to materialize, inspiring millions of Americans to take to the roads feeling exhilaratingly free with gas prices only slightly more than double what they were before the Obama regime took the reigns of the country almost four years ago.The Power of an ElectionSince the 2008 election, not much has gone right for the man in the White House. Magically and mysteriously, gas prices have improved.
