Nissan 370z 2010

From 3arf

Nissan have made well manufactured and reliable cars for some time. It is something that nearly all of the Japanese automobile companies are very good at. The cars are efficient, for the most part, modern and well engineered. In recent years Nissan have redesigned several of their models to keep in touch with their rivals, Honda and Toyota, and give their own image a must needed boost. When talking about the top cars Nissan have to offer, one should bring up the brand new 370Z. Now rolling out of the factories as a roadster, as opposed to last year’s coupe, Nissan have created a sporty and fun little vehicle that impresses across the board. The 370Z is a very attractive car. It is well proportioned and the curves on both the front and back ends add a certain sexiness not usually associated with Nissan. They are taking on several other well established roadsters out there, such as the Mazda MX-5 and the BMW Z4 and, on looks, they are definitely competing. Even the door handles and the “Z” badge are great to look at.The interior is also a success. The leather seats, which can be coloured to match the exterior paint, feel luxurious and look stylish, and the dashboard includes some very modern and smart fittings, all of which complement each other well. The interior is not as crowded and cluttered with buttons and dials as some modern cars can be and this is a relief.Under the 370Z’s hood sits a 3.7 litre V-6 engine that should power out around 330bhp. Other models and options can get the engine’s bhp up to around 350. This is an impressive number for a small, light and nimble roadster and should allow it to produce some serious speed.Rear-wheel drive and a six-speed manual or a seven-speed automatic transmission come as standard. The safety features are excellent, with the 370Z coming equipped with front, side and side curtain airbags as standard. The car also includes ABS and both traction and stability control. There are a whole boatload of options and extras that come on top of all the above basics if one should go with Nissan's new NISMO model of the 370Z. For a start, the driving experience gets even better and, secondly, for only a small increase in price, this option is surely the one to go for.The price will start at around 25,000 pounds, which is rather reasonable value for money considering how good this car is and how expensive some of its rivals are. The prices can get up to around 32,000 pounds for the NISMO option. Fuel economy is not great, but the Nissan can get up to a respectable 25mpg.The Nissan 370Z is a stunning car to drive and one can really feel how classy and luxurious the car is from inside the cockpit. The performance of the 370Z more than matches the looks, giving the car a smooth and responsive drive. This is not a sensible car to buy by any means, but which roadster is?Now available as a convertible as well as a coupe, the positives just keep going up for the 370Z. The car is also an engineering success and, for a relatively modest price, will be sure to be a commercial success in 2010 as well. It certainly competes with its rivals and could end up being the flagship car for Nissan.
