The payouts and prizes for the contests are generally low, $1-$20. However, with the frequency of the contests, this is not a problem. ChaCha often has turbocharged and guaranteed pay sessions. There are many opportunities outside of answering questions to make money with ChaCha.Communication with HeadquartersThrough the Guide's forum, ChaCha headquarters makes frequent updates about contests and other goings on at ChaCha HQ. They are quick to inform everybody of high volume periods, when the questions are coming in as quickly as they're being answered!In conclusion, from my personal experience as a ChaCha guide, it is a good thing to do in your spare time. It's a good multitasking activity while you peruse other areas of the web. It is not, however, by any means a substantial source of income. It does well as a complimentary source, paying small bills and making good spending money for college students or stay at home mothers.
