Some schools don't like tardiness and absenteeism they want dedicated people to enter their nursing school so make sure your past attendance in high school was the best it could be. A student should try to have completed at least twenty hours of community service is a requirement in some nursing schools. If this community service was in a hospital or nursing home it will very good on your application. This demonstrates that you have a passion for nursing.
