Ideas for Stunning little Table Top Christmas Trees

From 3arf

For many people, part of the fun of Christmas is putting up the decorations and the Christmas tree. Unfortunately, some folks just do not have the space for a full-size tree. Never let a little thing like space stand in your way of having a beautiful Christmas tree! Get yourself a tabletop tree and get down to the serious business of making it look absolutelyfabulous.

  • Woodenornaments. Tabletop Christmas trees are absolutely adorable all decked out with wooden ornaments. You can give your tree an old-time rustic feel by also adding small pine cones and red ribbons. The wooden ornaments do not have to be painted to make your little tree a sight to behold. Wooden ornaments can easily be found in most stores or ordered online.
  • Sparkle. Forget trying to find ornaments that are small enough to fit your tabletop tree! Put a strand of garland around it and then add the lights. This little sparkling darling is sure to be a hit with your family and friends. The way the lights will bounce off  the garland will captivate everyone that looks at it, especially in a dimly-lit room.
  • Old fashioned. This is a fun and nostalgic way to decorate your tabletop Christmas tree. Find some handmade ornaments to adorn it. Cloth mittens, wooden or metal sleds, teddy bears and little drums are all examples of old fashioned ornaments. You can make a garland by stringing popcorn and placing it on the tree.
  • Shining star. Go all out decorating your little tree! Start with a silver tree and then add blue ornaments and white lights. Wrap it up with blue or silver garlands and top with a blue and white (easy to accomplish by changing out the colored bulbs for blue and white ones) light up star. If you do not have a silver tree, then you can use a white one or a regular green tree and still have beautiful results!
  • Glitter andgold. Want to try something special? Then consider decking your little tree out in shiny gold ornaments, garland and white or amber lights. Guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser at your next holiday gathering! If desired, you can offset the gold with red or even green ornaments/garland. You can find gold tabletop trees in stores and online.
  • Christmas cheer. This is possibly the most fun idea of all; do it your way! Use snowman, reindeer, silver bells, coffee pots or whatever kind of ornaments you like. Use three strands of garland and dress up your little tree with blinking multi-colored lights. Put a big bright bow on top of the tree, dress up your tree in whatever way says Christmas to you.

Tabletop Christmas trees are every bit as fun and versatile as their full size counterpart. The trick to decorating a small tree is to remember the size difference when buying ornaments, garland (easy fix: cut a full size strand in half or thirds!) and lights (they make mini strands of lights). Have a ball decorating your tabletop tree this year.
