How to Spot a Scam Money Making Website
There are so many scams on the internet and they are not always easy to recognise. If you are unsure of whether or not a website is legitimate, the best thing you can do is avoid it. Scammers are now also asking for smaller amounts of money, as people are more likely to risk paying a smaller amount than a large one. If a site asks for $20 other than $100, so many more people will sign up and hand over their bank details without a second thought.
There are many sites that offer get rich quick schemes, and most of them will ask for money in return for sharing their “big secrets”. A lot of these sites will have pages and pages of information that does not mention anything about how they will make you money. They might even show you a pay cheque. This does not make it a legitimate money-making site. Anyone can write a check!
Right at the bottom of these pages there might be a box which asks for your first name and your email address. Keep in mind that they will share your details with other scam sites and you will also receive endless emails from those. After they have sent you an email, the email link will take you to a similar page, explaining everything that the previous site did, except this new page has a box at the bottom. This contains a price for their product and spaces to fill in your credit card details. They will always claim that you will be getting this product at a special discounted price. Even when trying to leave the site, they will try and tempt you with a better offer and a lower price. They will even offer a money back guarantee. You will not have a guarantee; you will only have their word. What is a scammer's word worth? Nothing!
Another common scam is companies asking for processing fees to find you a loan. They will promise to find the loan you are asking for, no matter what your credit rating is. If you have never heard of the company who is asking you for your bank details, do not give them out! There are plenty of legitimate sites out there. Do not get sucked into the false and unrealistic promises. Research the site before committing to payment. Usually, when a website or company is a scam, someone in the world has already written about it so look it up. Always remember that if it seems too good to be true, it almost definitely is.
So many people get scammed every day. Do not let it be you next!
